This photo was taken in April of this year (2015) on my first visit to the colourful tulip fields of the Skagit Valley in Washington State. Seeing these beautiful fields of flowers was on my bucket list and they were breathtaking!
This photo was taken near sunset at a field near La Conner. The sun was warm and golden, the air was still, and there weren't many people about so it was a very peaceful and magical scene.
Photography is my passion, and I've loved taking photographs since I was a child. I enjoy being able to capture the beauty in many subjects - flowers, food, scenery, nature, still life, architecture, night scenes, and cityscapes - anything that inspires, intrigues, or amazes me. Metro Vancouver, Canada, is where I call home.
