During a visit to Whidbey Island in Washington State last May, we stopped in for delicious lunch at the Knead & Feed Cafe. It was a grey day, but the baskets of flowers hanging under the window outside caught my eye. A nice pop of colour, and a good contrast to the old wood siding of the building. I've applied a painterly effect to this photograph (see closeup view).
