Another version of Late Summer Roses, this one is truer to what I saw in the gardens a couple days ago. The vibrant red of the blooms contrasted wonderfully with the blue sky. It was a warm summer day, almost mid September, making one feel that Fall was far away. Artistic filters and other effects have been applied to the photograph.

Photography is my passion, and I've loved taking photographs since I was a child. I enjoy being able to capture the beauty in many subjects - flowers, food, scenery, nature, still life, architecture, night scenes, and cityscapes - anything that inspires, intrigues, or amazes me. Metro Vancouver, Canada, is where I call home.
